Accessibility Statement

We design and build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is the standard most organizations, schools, and government bodies use to evaluate digital learning tools, including under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Across our website and learning platform, we work to ensure:

• Video lessons have captions and transcripts
• Pages work with a keyboard alone, without a mouse
• Screen readers can navigate headings, buttons, forms, and course content in a logical order
• Images and diagrams have text descriptions
• Text and background colors have enough contrast to read comfortably
• Text can be resized up to 200 percent without losing content or function
• Quizzes and workbooks can be completed with assistive technology
• Nothing flashes in a way that could trigger seizures
• Time limits, where they exist, can be extended or turned off

Every course goes through a visual accessibility and readability review before release, covering contrast, text size, visual density, and alt-text.

Our platform and content are built to the standard above. We have not yet completed a third-party accessibility audit. We are working toward a formal conformance report (a VPAT) for organizations that require one in procurement.

Some parts of the experience run on third-party tools, such as video hosting, payment processing, and community platforms. We choose vendors with accessibility in mind, but we cannot fully control their interfaces. If you hit a barrier in a third-party tool, tell us and we will help find a workaround.

Organizations that deliver Teachix courses through their own learning management system receive standard course packages. Accessibility of the surrounding LMS is the responsibility of that system's provider.

Accessibility is not a one-time fix. We review the platform on a regular schedule, test new features before release, and update this statement when our status changes.
